Let it snow !

My brother lives in Shropshire about 10 minutes drive from the  Welsh border and if you want to upset any of his family especially his in laws just say they live in Wales, don't know why but they are very touchy about it. It has fab advantages for the kids though as there are some fantastic sleding runs which they greatly utilised last year and so I thought James sledging would be an ideal image for my 6 year old nephews card. I seem to be making alot of blue christmas cards of late, unless I consciously go for red and green I end up with blue, maybe its just that I have a few papers that are blue I'm not sure but I would class it as one of my favourite colours so it might just be a comfort zone thing.

I coloured this cute ted with my promarkers and kept the design simple, I think when you have fab images there is no point in not having them as the focal point on your card. I mounted him on matt silver card and then on a drinks coaster and then on snowflake paper. The embelliskment was from a challenge prize I think not 100% sure but it just seemed to be right and the sentiment I embossed in sapphire powder. Hope he likes it and doesn't think it too babyish, they grow old so fast these days.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:-

Crazy 4 challenges-square card
Crafty calendar-winter/snowflakes
Fuzzy wuzzy- an animal and a season
dude time-fab sketch love the simplicity
The stampman-christmas
Whoopsi Daisy-christmas
Cards for men-animals
