More sugar nellie white on white

I decided it was unfair to leave any of these fab sassy girls out of trying for this fab competition over at Sugar nellie, especially with such fab prizes on offer. I do have set 2 well technically but they have gone to Santa for safe keeping as will no doubt set 3 when they arrive at our house, so for now I only have set 1 to play with.

Have you seen all the other entries , boy there is some talent out there and it makes me wonder if I even stand a chance , but IO am so loving these white on white cards. I am running out of patterned white paper and am having to resort to making my own, it's a good job that the competition is focusing on colouring and shading as I have my promarkers for that.

The prizes , are a fab spellbinders Grand Caliber to sit under your tree and even better a place on the simply sassy design team. There is more than one round to the competition and the fans of the house of sugar get to choose the winners, consolation prizes are fab too, 12 sugar nellie stamps, so you have to be in it to win it as they say.

This is my second entry and I used the artist, I decided on soft pastel colours , well blues and pinks and though that I could put one of the child sentiments inside of 'If you're feeling blue paint yourself another colour'. My sister in law has just been diagnosed with renal failure and I thought it would be a novel way to cheer her up when she gets to the point of realising just what she is in for long term , as at the moment she is still just being bombarded with information and the enormity of it all.

I used a fiskars embossing mat to create the backgrounds of the base card flowers and the arc shapes on the circle mat as I thought they looked a bit like rainbows. I finished with a couple of white flowers an a ribbon and bow. These images just yell to be the focal point and don't need much fuss. I edged the circle in diamond stickles just for some extra definition.

I would also like to enter this card for the following challenges:-
Pollycraft monday-colour challenge,pink,blue and brown
Whoopsi daisy-ribbons and bows

Hi Julye, such a pretty card - clever use of the arcs on the circle mat to mimic the rainbow. Good luck in the competition
