My first DT project for OSAAT

Firstly 'HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY' TO ALL THE MUMS IN THE UK! Have a wonderful restful day, as we all know mums are one of the hardest working groups of people in the world as its a 24 hour lifetime job, but worth every minute of hard work.

I was lucky enough to join is over at One Stitch at a Time. This is my first challenge with them so hopefully I'm not going to let anyone down. We have a fab challenge with the title of 3D which can be interpreted however you decide.

One of the perks of being on the team is we get to play with the digis that Stitchy Bear Stamps has on offer and boy is there a fab and totally varied choice with not only something for every occasion but a varied array of styles to suit everyones taste and the shop has just had a 'refit' so to speak so there is a spanking new shop site to have a nosey around too.

I decided to play with Dezinaworld sweetykit this time as I thought it would make a fab 3D card and so fast to make too. I simply printed out the image 4 times, well 5 actually as I flipped the image and the first time I printed it for some reason I flipped 3 of the images and not the 4th, so I had to print another flipped one. I then simply cut out the bits decoupage style coloured the wee hearts with red sakura glaze pen stuck it together with stick pads and added a ribbon between a couple of the head layers so it looked like it was at the back OK Kitty's head. The ground I colored in pastel blue Promarker and can't believe it's done.
The pics show the side and front view so you get an idea of the 3D effect.
