I was lucky enough to be given some of their Christmas diecuts to play with and had a fun time making my first Christmas card for this year, did feel odd though as the sun was shining at the time.I made my background by painting a wash with inks and then simply added the diecuts to form a scene.I was quite impressed with myself as I've never done anything like it before .

I had to fiddle around to get the positioning of the folds in the right place so it would stand up and still give the 3D look and be able to see all the characters but I think I got it.
I finished off by powder embossing a simple sentiment form the Darkroom in gold, think I might have to make an envelope for it though as it's just a bit too big for a standard envelop, but never mind there is still plenty of time for that nearer Christmas.

We also have another sponsor

 check them out too.

Hey I just realised all British sponsors this time round.

I was lucky enough this time to play with my choice of images from Teri and had a fun time with not 1 but 3 of her stamps that I used together . I used Tattoos and feathers, which you can find here, along with cogs corner piece and chain and cog frame think they work so well together. I coloured the tattoo girl using a mix of promarkers and sakura pens and used sakura glaze pens on the cogs and chains too. The Sister word is made using my bigshot and one of the alphabet dies I have with a brad for the dot on the I.

On the inside of the card I reprinted the image but this time just left it balck and white and used the cog image as corners.

Best tell you the challenge theme which is a real easy one again for you all 'Use a Digi' and don't forget if you use a Stitchy Bear stamp image you can enter our Pretty in Print competition too.
