Hi peeps well I am still here but not getting much time to make cards and visit blogland, but that time will come again hopefully soon. In the meantime I still have plenty of decorating and gardening and house rennovation to keep me going along with all the other traumas that life throws our way, but as the saying goes 'what doesn't kill you only serves to make you stronger' well lets hope so.
My card today is an anniversary card for my mum and dad and not sure whether its cos I've not been crafting for a while or not but I found it challenging to get back in the groove, and I'm not sure that I'm happy with it or not.
The layout I made up as I went along and as I couldn't decide on a colour scheme opted for white on white . The image is a LOTV and is one of my favourites and I thought it would be great for an anniversary card. I coloured with different shades of grey and some pastels promarkers with a bit of glitter added from stickles.
The papers are all from my white and black scraps folder, slowly getting down them but still like most crafters have plenty to go. The sentiment is from a QVC kit not sure which one as I've had it so long , sorry peeps and the charm is from one of the vendors within our local garden centre, not sure if its part of the garden centre or a shop in its own right but again I've had them at least 2 years, so thought I ought to use them. The corner punch is from QVC by Martha Stewart.
