Sharing a disaster, please where are the tutorials?

I decided as there are alot of new beginnings challenges around and anything goes challenges too I might have a go at a style I have never done before with non vintage stamps and definitely one I shy away from. I decided to give vintage a shot, and think I need shooting for doing so, I so need educating on how to (please feel free to point me in the tutorial direction) as either I got it right and have no taste or am still plain rubbish at vintage and should stay in my comfort zone.I am definitely not seeking compliments but am definitely seeking advice as I would so love to add another style to my repertoire.

I used K and co papers and noble tilda and her dog images. I added glitter for some bling, is this my downfall or the start of it, and a bit of lace I found and ribbon to try and co-ordinate the colours. I coloured with promarkers and sakura pens. finally I added some roses to try and bring everything together.

I decided I would enter these challenges just for the fun of it and because that way more people with talent will see my problems and I might get some help, so here are the challenges

I will enter:-

Stamp something challenge-glitter
Magnola-licious Highlights-4 flowers 3 roses and one on image,3 types of paper 2 K and co and glitter paper,1 ribbon and 2 images
Just magnolia-anything goes
Totally Tilda-ribbons and roses
By the cute and girly-bling it on
Shabby tea room-11 elements, I think there's 11 very unintentionally
Wild Orchid crafts-layout
Pile it on-Brand spankin' new-my noble tilda stamp
Flourishes-flowers
Simon says stamp and show-your newest stamp well noble tilda was the last I opened at christmas
Papertake weekly-anything goes optional add lace
Simon says stamp challenge-new beginnings, not sure for how long I will stick to trying this new for me style
Creative card crew-new beginnings

Now brace your selves here is the whole card.

You are too hard on yourself! You've covered the vintage style very well with your roses, lace, papers and the adorable Tilda and Wilma! Very nice card Julye and thank you for joining the challenge at Magnolia-licious Highlites.

Julye! You are definitely being too hard on yourself. I struggle with vintage also and have to go look at a friend's blog to "copy" her! haha! Just take someone's vintage card that you like and mimic and then try one on your own. I personally think you did a GREAT job with the red roses and the lace, perfectly vintage!
Thanks for joining the Just Magnolia Challenge this week!

Just like Dena, I am not very agile with Vintage and lift from others..ideas, colors, embellies, etc!!! I believe your first attempt is fabulous and feel privileged to have you join the BTC&G challenge for all of us to see :)))

Continue on your vintage quest!!! Practice, practice and you will find your own vintage style :)
