A stitch in autumn

This is a card I made a while ago when I fancied doing some sewing and thought these buttons added a bit of extra interest.
Not sure how I came up with the design or sentiment, I probably saw something that led to the design but think it will make a good male card for an autumnal birthday or retirement or even a thank you card.

Buttons are from a kit not sure where from
silks and fabric from my stash

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:-

creative inspirations-fall/autumn colours
paper pretties-permission to embellish
opus gluei-male card
joanna sheene-button it up
scribble and scrap-always anything goes
Robins fetish- autumn/fall
OSAAT-anything goes

Fabulous Julye, I really appreciate the work involved in the stitching. So theraputic to do though.

I tried to email you regarding the boxes that I used and it was bounced back to me with a permanent error. If you can email me on crafteezee@gmail.com, I can give you all the details.

Thanks,

Oooo' Julye .... I love those buttons and you have placed them so naturally to reflect the falling leaves of Autumn. I used to really enjoy cross stitching until the eyes became too old to continue so it is lovely to have your work here to enjoy. There are so many uses for such a beautiful card.Good luck in our challenge this week. Ingrid xx (OSAAT Team)

Oh, I really like this and yes, it is VERY versatile and would be treasured by any recipient. I like that you considered it for a man because I think men do like color and would enjoy something with texture. What a lovely combo of my two favorite things - papercrafting and cross-stitch!

Thank you for taking the time to share your creativity with us at Opus Gluei! I hope you return for more challenges with us.
