Sometimes all you need is coffee

We all have those moments when we just want to stand and scream I'm sure you will agree but often a better solution and far less noisy and less likely to attract attention is to sit and have a moan with a friend over a cuppa. It really is true a problem shared is a problem halved and often all you need to put things into perspective or find a solution to what initially seemed impossible .

For this card I used these two cute ladies partaking in a warm beverage and a natter, I used all different shades of purple promarkers to colour their attire and sakura gel pens to highlight bits on their handbags and for the table and stools.I had stamped it onto cream card cut with a spellbinders circle die to match the base card which I had dry embossed with a dotty pattern. I kept to the dots as they were used on the image and thought it would be nice to carry the theme through the whole card.

The sentiment is hand written by my ugly scrawl sad to say I am not one of these people who has handwriting that just looks so perfect and if I try it looks even worse but at least my recipient will know it is sent with love and kind thoughts that are reserved for family and special friends.

The other layer on the card is also dotty and purple and is a freebie paper from bird house just love these. Think I might have to download them again though as hubby still hasn't found time or inclination to recover my profile from the laptop that  windows has decided I can no longer play on and has so many of my downloads stored on. The card is finished off with an accent of pearls.
