Hopefully , eventually all white

I can't believe how many times and different ways I tried to make this snowflake on my card. I had some acetate from the lid of last years crackers and thought a big snowflake would look good , so I stamped in versamark , sprinkled and very gently embossed. I was so pleased as the accetate didn't loose shape, I half expected it to curl like shrink plastic but it didn't. Success, I thought until I put it on my white card and it was a wonderful beigy smoky colour, strike 1.

I cut another piece and got out my glue pad that have to admit I've only used once since buying last year, new idea , I have a pot of polar white flower soft on my desk again unused so stamp with the glue and spirikle, leave to dry. Next day cut it out and as doing so all the flowersoft drops off, strike 2.

Final try if this didn't work I would change tack as mum wanted the card, again I used the glue but this time glitter, that's what they demonstrated with. Again I was patient and left it to dry and thankfully it dried. I didn't take any chances and stuck it to my card glitter side down and finished with a gem.

The rest of my card have to say went quite straight forward. I used manga santa from sugar nellie coloured with sakura glaze and promarkers, gotto love that sheen. I mounted this onto some pearlise white card that I used a fiskars embossing board to add snowflakes , man have I got to get more bits for my sissix bigshot embossing would be so much easier. I then mounted this onto an embossed quilted look card and attached some white confetti snowflakes that were from a challenge prize last year too. The sentiment just a peeloff. No more fancy embellishments as it's for one of mums grandsons, either 6 or 9 whichever she decides on and they are so not into flowers and bows.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:-
