I don't have too many Christmas cards left to make now and so far I've been lucky enough to be able to combine each challenge with quite a few challenges, which is always a bonus.
This card I decided to try something different,I was lucky enough to win some die cuts from Susie Sugar a while ago and so far hadn't used them so I thought I should rectify that. I thought the easy way out would be just putting it on a card but that's a bit too easy so as I've often seen Susie do on her blog I thought I'd use it like a plate card. I bought a plate holder in the summer with the plan of using it to hold my cards to take photos of them, though I do keep forgetting to do this , but I drew around it to make a holder for my card. I hope my sister in law will show my nephew how to stand the card up, didn't think about that, hey ho I'm sure she will.
I had this image of Santa by Sarah Kay sent to me in a swap a while ago and thought with the tree I won last year in a candy would be perfect together. I coloured the santa with Sakura glaze pens for shine and promarkers as the tree too. The paper was a freebie yet again. The stars are also a magazine freebie from last year( chipboard) and the sentiments were a candy win. I think that's about it, oops nearly forgot the stickles for fairy lights on the tree.
Quick reminder- over at creative craft challenges we have a tag it challenge running till next tuesday, so come on have a go.
I would like to enter this card for the following challenges:-
totally gorjuss-trees

There she goes-card for a young person
