New home cards

I've just realised I've put something about showing you these later in my DT post for tomorrow but never mind I can always alter that, then again if I leave it I'll have you all as confused as I am an that sounds more fun, so hey ho here we go.

My niece is moving into a new home with her boyfriend and another couple at the beginning of next month so I had some cards to make from me and my mum and then my son wanted one too, that is on the Dt post.

Anyway I decided that I would try and make them different to each other and came up with these. The first is from mum and thought she'd like something a bit more traditional. Gemma her grand daughter is a real romantic and so sweet I thought she'd like the idea of a cottage with flowers around the door, not that I suspect the new house will be anything like this but still.
The stamp is from a set by the stampman which I coloured using Promarkers and then added some sakura glaze clear to the windows and some flower soft summer to the foliage on the trellis. the papers were from my scraps folder and I used a punch to make the edge fancy and added some ribbon. I then added some daisies and buttons and little bows to finish. The other backing paper is a scrap of K and Co paper and I thought it tied in well with the daisies. Mum liked it and that was really all that mattered. The sentiment is from LOTV.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:-

Oldie but goodie-add a heart(on my border punch)
Paperplay-hearts and flowers but not a valentine
Daring cardmakers-2 ribbons, one or more buttons and at least one heart (hearts on my punch border) sponsored by the ribbon reel
The stampman challenge-hearts(hearts on my punch border)
Friday sketches-layout

The card I am sending to my niece and her boyfriend I hope will make them smile, more from what I wrote inside than the image. I used on of the WOJ Melinda's stamp wiping dishes and for a change coloured in pastels again Promarkers and pearl sakura on the plate.

The layout I decided to keep simple and just cut some rectangles of a pastel paisley paper, I think its a K and co but not sure as it was in my scraps folder. I added lilac ribbon from my stash and a bow on the diagonal opposite to the LOTV sentiment which I stamped in blue brilliance ink, for balance.

Now in case you are all wondering what I wrote, well I put something along these lines.
I send you this angels house fairy , as most men seem to think every house has one and they are the one who washes dishes , does the ironing and picks up their dirty clothes, though no man has ever seen one ! I wonder why?

Now I don't know how domesticated my nieces boyfriend is but I hope it makes them smile. My hubby swears we have house fairies that do the housework and he said that long before Harry Potter too.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:-

Charisma-mythical/fantasy
RRR-spring
Going grey with scrap creations-spring is in the air
