Hi all hope Monday is treating you well, this is hopefully just a quick post to show you a simple thank you card I mad e for my son to take to hospital tomorrow he likes to be prepared and knows he will be looked after well and spoilt rotten too. Not sure how he will cope if he needs further hospitalisation as I'm sure he must be nearing transfer to the adult hospitals and then he will go nuts being on his own apart from visiting times and no doubt panic too when he can't do something and there is only the staff who are elusive to help him. I can say this after recently being in hospital myself and know that there was one student nurse to 10 patients and only two other members of staff on the ward too. I envisage getting phone calls of panic if he needs some help and doesn't get it and is told just a minute then no one arrives after 10 minutes my son isn't patient at the best of times , so thank goodness we are at the Children's this time.
My card uses a stamp fairy freebie image which already has the sentiment of thank you, I simply coloured with promarkers in shades of grey and added blossom pink for the flower. I mounted on recycled box packaging mirri card and then on a grey base card and done.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:-
Card Cupid -use only 2 colours
OSCC-monochromatic
I did it -song inspired(Thank you very much, thank you very very very much)
On the subject of Card Cupid why not pop along to their site and check out how you can help a worthy cause sending a card to a child or just sending cards to help them fill their care packages there is something special that really cheers children well anyone really when you are not well or post surgery receiving a card that shows some one cares enough to send you some cheer.
Another quickie, have you seen the fab royal wedding ribbon candy over at the ribbon girl, why not pop over and join in.

This is adorable. I love the image (but I am a bit of a Stamp Fairy addict!). Your colouring is wonderful, and I love the white highlights. Fab card. Annette xx (One Stop Craft DT)
Great card - like the colours.
Thanks for playing along at Card Cupids.
Hugs. Jacqueline
