For Ellie

A commissioned boxed card for a young lady called Ellie, whose favourite colour was purple.

The card was quite dimensional so required a deep box  and was posted as a parcel well padded.

The box top had a matching flower design and silver foliage and decorative gems for a bit of bling.

The card was an 8x8 inch z fold card with 2 circle discs one for the birthday wishes and one on the inside of the card for the personal message again decorated with purple vellum flowers silver foliage printed on acetate and lots of gems.

Graduation celebration

A graduation cap for a young man who graduated from Cambridge university.

The cap shows a white edge on the cap to depict the actual cap design  and it sits on the top of an easel card with a message of congratulations on the base.

I created a matching box for the card  so it could be hand delivered by his family for the graduation celebrations.

The designs for the base card and box are available on silhouette design studio.

Paper love planes

A fun way to send love to someone close or far away as paper planes don't really fly that far. The plane will do somersaults along it's journey as it tumbles or slides down the channel created with a penny on its reverse for stability. A sentiment can be added to the sky if required.

Buzzing birthday

Fun summer birthday card commission for an Uncle who kept bees. The u background gives added interest without distraction. Elements from Chloe's creative crafts.

Cheers your 60

Unicorn rucksack

My sister in law fostered 2 young sisters and they loved my rucksack so I decided to make on for each of them as Christmas presents in be known to their foster mum.

They had to be similar but different enough that they didn't have arguments. Unfortunately the 2 girls were moved before they were given their gifts and were not allowed to take any of their things with them.

This one I did with flowers and a unicorn as the central focal point, they are smaller in size than the large one I made for the lady who wanted it for her disabled daughter but didn't want to pay for the cost of materials as they were for smaller children. They were made from Calico and padded and hand painted just the same and were  a labour of love.

If you know a little girl who loves unicorns or a big girl who wants a little bag though I am not sure the straps would fit an adult though I haven't tried I would be willing to sell for the cost of materials but it is one of a kind.

The second rucksack for the other girl had fairies as the focal point but again is the same size and again I would be willing to sell much as I love looking at them.

You are...

A card I made for my son who was having a rough time in life and doubting some decisions he had no control over. He loves eagles and the words were simply meant to give him a boost.

Layered eagle

This eagle sits above my son's desk holding the motivation card I made for him. The eagle is created by layering different cut sheets of card to create the different feathers and patterns so is quite  a sturdy decoration. Please excuse the pink suits on the wall remnants of blue tak used to hold post it notes he used as studying prompts. The eagle design is from silhouette design studio ,the colours are my son's favourite colours.

Doggy sympathy card

A commission for a sad family event as loosing a fur baby is never good.
