Rainbow flowers

I decided to play with my distress oxide inks but make a bit of a rainbow too. There was a challenge I found that is to case one of Beverly Brown from Unikos cards  so I thought I'd have a go. I was recently lucky enough to win some fab flower stamps from a moving along with the times challenge.

I stamped the flower images with versafine ink and embossed using clear embossing powder. I them created my rainbow using post it notes to create the crisp lines.

I decided once I'd done the rainbow to try something different. I used a water pen and tissue to oxidise and remove some of the colour from the flower. I quite like the effect it created.
I decided to make it a birthday card so added the birthday stamp from the flower set. I don't normally make single layer cards but I'm happy I tried this, this time.

I would like to enter his card into the following challenges:-

Time out challenges - case Bev's card

Kraftin Kimme - rainbow colours

Sweet stampin' - heat embossing

The daily marker - colouring challenge

simon says - use a stamp

little red wagon - show us your background

I love the effect that you created by "erasing" the ink in the flowers - it really allows them to shine. Great CASE! Thanks so much for playing along with us at TIME OUT! Jill
