Weeds are flowers too

I am sad to say that I don't actually own many penny black stamps though there are many on my wish list, but I do love the ones I do already own  as they somehow all have their own magic.

I decided today that I would do something other than Christmas cards as I now only have 2 special ones to make and then just some spares for those I've actually forgotten or to give to those I recieve unexpectedly and of course those hubby and son decide they need when they return to school and work. Hubby is the worst as each year he tells me that they all donate to children in need on the understanding that they don't send christmas cards and then a few days before christmas they all change their minds, men can be so funny some times so this year I have decided I will make some simple spares, but not today.

I used a metalic grey base card and added green papermania floral papers. I mounted the image on silver mirri card and added green gems to the corners with  white and green glitter ribbon to finish. The image is coloured with promarkers and sprayed with moonglow mica spray and stickles added to the dandilion seeds. I think it would make a great card for male or female , just to say hello or even with a sentiment added a birthday card, or thankyou, always useful to have.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:-

Penny Black at Allsorts-beauty is in the eye of the beholder

Colour create-green grey and white with optional silver and acetate

Hi Julye

Oh .. .. this is my very favourite Penny Black image. It is first one I bought and the one that lead me to buying quite a few afterwards!! LOL!!!

I think I still love it the most .. .. perhaps because it was my first stamp .. .. I love lots of others too and there are still lots on my wish list too though.

I love your card and the layout you have used.

Thank you for sharing with Penny Black at Allsorts this month .. .. I hope you win another Penny Black stamp so that you own a little bit more Penny Black magic.

Love Jules xx
