Hope it's not really a blue christmas

I decided as mum has asked for some special cards for family ans that I have only made 2 or 3 christmas cards so far I ought to make a start. Mum needs 6 granddaughter cards, one is 2years old and the others are all 16 + so I thought Tilda would be suitable , well what teenager doesn't secretly like cute.

I am still not back to full power so decided to have a look through what challenges are around so I could use these as a frame to build on. I started off with the layout from Just magnolia, hence Tilda, the colour scheme is from really reasonable ribbons as I had a piece of snow flake wired ribbon on my desk and they happen to have a blue white and silver colour scheme. I bought a mini sewing machine before I went into hospital and decided to have a play with it, my lines were rayther wonky and the thread broke a few times so I guess I need more practice sewing paper together, any tips greatfully received.

I coloured Tilda with my promarkers and the pressie and highlights with sakurs, which their glitter pen I used to add sparkle to the snow flakes on the white paper. The papers are both forever friends. I used blue mirri card for mounts and silver peeloff 'granddaughter' and finished with some fab snowflake brads that I think were a prize from a challenge last december/january, but thought they just finished the corners off. The ribbon was a prize from I think a ladybug blog hop (Lisa mess 2 magic) I think so thanks it works perfectly.

I would like to enter this card for the following challenges:-

Just Magnolia- sketch
Really reasonable ribbons-blue,white and silver plus ribbon of course
Crafty cardmakers-stitching
A spoonful of sugar-relish to embellish
E-A-C- untraditional christmas(non traditional colour scheme)
For fun challenges-use metal (brads and mirri card)
I love promarkers-snowflakes
Elephantastic-blue
