I so hate doing pink cards!

Probably as I find them hard to do, I'm sure my son keeps requesting them on purpose. He asked for 2 more girly pink christmas cards and another boy one and what's more wanted them before school and gave me 20 minutes notice, guess what... he didn't get them, but 2 down 1 to go, but thought I'd have a break and post these before I do the 3rd.

The first of these 2 cards,( have to say son went through all my christmassy stamps to pick out the images too) and both are Sugar Nellies (available via funky kits,) is the bauble manga girl. This wasn't a stamp but an image on my desk that was a rak. I coloured the baubles with sakura glaze pens to give the glass effect and the rest of the image in promarkers all pink shades. I gave her an aura of pastal blue and the floor is pastal beige, not often I can remember the colours I use. The white paper is copier paper embossed using a fiskars board and the pink paper a magazine freebie from last year. The ribbon I think was one of the holding tags from inside a jumper (nolonger hanging but stored on a shelf). The sentiment is LOTV, stamped on vellum and embossed with moonglow magic moon pearls powder. I then coloured the back with pink promarker, I think it's quite effective.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:-

Stamp with fun-layout

ABC designs-non traditional christmas colours

christmas card challenge-winter or christmas with optional monotone

Simon says-no red or green

The second pink card I have is a country cousins image , I think or is it sweet heart ebony, I always get these muddled but love them both. This young lady has stopped to look at the snow and for taking time to enjoy nature a cheeky charlie has brought her a bough of holly. I coloured her in promarkers and added sparkle to the snowflakes with stickles, which don't show up at all well on the photo. The glitter panel is recycled from a bought card someone sent me, well waste not... as is the ribbon. The sentiment again is LOTV stamped with pink promarker. I found theat if I covered the stamp with versamark first then promarker I got a better image as the promarker doesn't dry as fast.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:-

A spoonful of sugar-christmas card

Fresh brewed coffee-sparkle and shine

Creative card crew-anything goes
