All thats gold

Got that saying wrong to start with never mind. It's wednesday and time for another fab challenge from Penny's paper crafting challenge and boy have we got a doozy for you all this time.

There is a fab photo inspiration for you which have to say I found challenging, after I thought it would be a doddle at first. My photos aren't sparkling either as the daylight is rubbish and when the sun shines it's watery enough to cast shadows but spoils photos so appologies folks. I can tell you that I did colour my image with 2 different golds just in case you can't tell from the photo and am actually quite pleased with the finished card.

I used an old medallion stamp that I have had for ages, I think its one of the first graphicus stamps I bought from the first craft show I visited but not 100% sure. I stamped and powder embossed on gold pattered mirri card, though found that the embossing soon fell off if you caught it, took me a while to work out what all the black bits were. I coloured with gold sakura gell pens and crimson promarker. The white bits were also coloured with sakura gel pen. I then simply stuck on a gold pearlised card and added a foil printed card strip sentiment from some kit I got ages ago, I think they are the only bits left out of it.

Now I am so looking forward to seeing how you interpret the picture so please join us here.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:-

Sarah Hurley-embossing
Creative cowgirls-anything goes
 Peartree designs-colourful
Just us girls-colour challenge
For fun challenges-anything goes
