stamps for sale

I have been sorting out my stamps and have decided that those I haven't used of have only used very rarely I have decided to sell to someone who would give them a little more love than I have.

The first ones I have sorted through are some of the very first stamps I bought when I first started crafting and were all from The Stampman. The stamps were from sheets of  Non-Sequitur and aspects of design and when looking on the internet to see if I could find the names of the sheets and some examples of them being used I found that I couldn't find most of the sheets and more surprisingly they still sell for the same or a couple of pounds more than I paid for them.
(appologies for the small text blogger seems to be ignoring me when I ask for the text to be all the same size and colour,will keep trying to correct it,hope you manage to read the small print,thanks)

I will try and find examples but apologies for those I don't.

The stamps have all seen ink once as I stamped them to make storage sheets which I have cut up to illustrate what the stamp actually looks like.

I do use some out of the sheets so I am not selling full sheets but will price the stamps individually or where small stamps in a group.

These two pages of stamps hold 2 complete sheet sets , unfortunately I can't remember which stamps go with which set so I am selling the 2 sets as one complete set.

I have shown the stamped imaged and corresponding rubber stamps. All are backed with ez mount.

I have used some of these stamps but the door twice and the others demonstrated on the card shown only once.

Over the last couple of days I haven't done much any crafting partly as I don't have any birthdays or other events coming up and whenever I have thought about crafting I have found myself staring out the window and not achieving anything.

I decided to go blog hoping to seek inspiration. I found a style I decided after looking through squirrels world blog and also Jen Nelsons a tiny blue butterfly blog I would give CAS a go as I'm not normally very good at it as although I don't like overly fussy cards I'm not good at real clean and simple.

This card uses a penny black stamp which I coloured with promarkers and the hearts with sakura gel pen.I fussy cut it out and stuck it to the card. 

I hand wrote the sentiment.

 The hearts are die cuts and again I coloured the hearts with sakura gel pen, before adhering them to the card.I hand tied two small bows in 1cm wide white satin ribbon and attached these to the tops of the die cuts.

my first try at spotlight colouring

Not had much time to craft of late but so wanted to do some colouring so thought I'd have a go at spotlight colouring. I happened to have a scrap of card with some circle dies holes cut in it so just used one of these as my spotlight area.

I used a white base card and added a piece of paper I had in my scrap file that i had previously played on with mica pigment inks and some rock salt.






 I added a piece of hessian ribbony stuff not sure what to call it really.I pulled a thread from it and used this to tie 2 lily of the valley tags to it.

Card done.

Have a magical day

A while ago I was lucky enough to get this super aurora wings image , she is just so pretty and epitimise summer. I love hydrangeas and their diversity of colours and as we have been having very mixed and cold weather thought she would be perfect to colour for a hint of summer. I love blues and lilacs and white with sparkly.

I actually made her a little to wide for my card but having her wing tips hang over the card edges adds to her magic.I coloured her with promarkers and added sakura glitter pen to her wings , the photo doesn't show this very well though. I fussy cut her out before adding to the base card.

The base card was white and I cut out a cloud shape before dusting over it with chalks.I added the fairy to the bottom of the card so as to give the impression of a summers day.

I haven't yet decided on the sentiment but know I will use a lily of the valley one that has a magical theme either magical birthday or simply sending a magical day or wishes.

I decided I wanted to do something different so thought I'd have a play with some glossy card and dye inks and do some resist embossing. Normally I would do white or clear ink with white or clear embossing powder but decided I would try with black for a change.

I used some darkroom stamps that I have had ages and never inked up and stamped them in 3's on white glossy card and embossed with clear embossing powder.

I used some of my favourite coloured dye inks and wiped across the card 3 times once with each colour,then buffed with a tissue.I love how the card shines.

I cut the card into 3 all the same size ,trimming top and bottom. I added them to a white base card and added a simple black happy birthday peel-off. I think it will make a fab gents card.

Pussycat love

My son has a pet cat that is his baby ,he got her at hubby's idea of company for him when he moved into his own home. Issy the cat is a real character and has her dad wrapped around he little paw so i thought he would appreciate it if she sent him a valentine card.

I have this bugaboo stamp from my design team days and thought it would be purrfect ,sorry for the pun. I tried to colour the image to match Issy though I'm not sure I managed but I think my son will get the idea.

The paper is Dovecraft which I cut down and fussy cut around the hearts. I added a little sakura glitter pen to the hearts.I coloured the image with promarkers and fussy cut. I used the same red to colour a piece of card which I layered behind the paper.

Always my winner Grandad

My dad has a birthday soon and my son asked me to make him a card for his Grand-dad. Now normally I manage male cards quite easily but my dad is always hard as apart from watching TV and family he has not a lot more than a passing interest in anything else. I asked my son to come up with an idea of what he would like on the card and he came up with the idea I used.

When mum and dad come over for Sunday lunch , after lunch we usually play a game , either a board game (there are many more very good fun board games other than monopoly and cluedo) but usually we end up playing spades. We usually play this as mum and dad have got the rules so they find it easier than learning something new.

The 5 cards displayed on the card would win 5 tricks, I would have put a full hand on that would have won every trick which would be my dad's dream hand but he would also be very happy with these 5 cards in his hand and 10 cards although not full sized were just too much on the card.

I used a kraft base card and a piece of basic grey paper that has a distressed look and I took it one step further and distressed the edges . I stuck the cards in the center and added peel offs finishing the sentiment with some hand written words in a similar style to the peel-off words.

For a purrfect couple

Mum and dad had an anniversary last week and I thought this image would be perfect for them. Its a Robyn's fetish image I was lucky enough to win and yet another I have never used.

I coloured the image with promarkers and decided to keep the rest of the card quite simple. 

The sentiment is from a years old scrap booking set and although its not 'Purrfect' I think its still perfect.

The paper I used for backing is I think a dovecraft but as I lost the front sheet of the pad am not sure so apologies just in case.I decided to cover the base card completely with a mat would be a bit too much but just over half I feel worked well.

Who knew 3 items could work so well to make a complete card.

Dad LOTV inspired

My dad has a birthday and I struggle with cards for him as its hard to do something different when he has limited interests, he likes watching TV and horse racing though just for entertainment value no longer because he likes a flutter. Presents are even harder but he does like his tea and biscuits and I found a fab gift of a mug with matching saucer/plate just the perfect size for biscuits.The mug set is brown and has white spots so I used that as my inspiration for colour scheme. The style I decided after seeing some sneak peeks of the new LOTV trios I thought I would follow that as an inspirational design theme.

I cut 3 and embossed 3 circles and hand drew the letters in black fine tip pen. I added some spots to the letters and coloured them in with promarker. I added some faux stitching around the disk edges.

I used a square white base card and added some LOTV paper from a Christmas pad it mimics kraft with white dots, not just for the jolly season. I decided to make a concerted effort and use some of the many peel-offs I have and framed the paper with a gold border and added a happy birthday peel-off sentiment too.

The 3 disks I stuck diagonally across the card and its done, Quick and easy and quite clean and simple too and I also think masculine too.
