Sassy sunday ?

Happy happy Sunday to one and all.Another Sunday and another challenge over at the OSAAT challenge blog and one you can really get your teeth into well so to speak time for SASSY!

Now when I saw this I have to admit I wasn't altogether sure what sassy really means, I know its something we probably use alot but do we get it right? I decided I best look it up and this is what I found:-

sas·sy 1 (ss)

adj. sas·si·er, sas·si·est

1. Rude and disrespectful; impudent.

2. Lively and spirited; jaunty.

3. Stylish; chic: a sassy little hat.

I decided to go with the lively and spirited and thought these fab pink and chocolate papers from JLJ designs over at Stitchy bear stamps that I got to play with fit the bill perfectly. I was cheeky not sassy and asked if I could have this Kelley's kids tease pixie to play with too as I thought she definitely would look sassy in pink.

The flowers and backing paper are all from the same paper pack by JLJ as are the papers I used for her wings dress and hair the only bit I coloured was her skin for which I used Promarkers.


The sentiment is one I made up on the computer and I thought it makes a fab girly card which could just be to say hello or even for a birthday, not really decided which yet but I think either would be good.The base card is brown pearlised sorry it doesn't show well but I think it suits the papers really well.

I'd check the other fabby DT blogs first though as you may well be inspired to go shopping for some of the fab sassy things they've used too from some of the other talented designers we have.
